Snow days are the perfect excuse for romping around favorite NYC neighborhoods with friends, dressed in puffy coats with fur hoods.
So, on the walk downtown, we passed by the small but sweet ice skating rink outside The Standard.
After lunch, over to Bleecker Street (aka: “Marc Jacobs Row” – the designer has taken over four separate storefronts dedicated to fashion & beauty, plus lifestyle, with Bookmarc).
This year, Santa’s workshop has a pricey satellite location at Marc Jacobs women’s boutique, where sporty caps are custom-embroidered in assembly line fashion.
Spotted: Julianne Moore and her daughter designing one.
Lights. Camera. Action. Sidewalk photo shoot, styled by Marc.

And, on the way back uptown, SantaCon in action…these guys were camera-ready, no props needed.
Just another snow day in the city…how did you spend yours?
New York. The Greatest city in the world.
Rachel- thank you for bringing a snow day to life.
That was my first one in years ;)
