Hopped into my SUV, singing along with Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson and Nicki Minaj, for a drive up I-87 to visit my friend Audrey. We met in middle school–the awkward years of french cuffs, braces and big Jersey hair. After 20 years (and our first half-marathon last fall), we’re family. She now lives in Vermont–home of authentic maple syrup, awe-inspiring fall foliage and everyone’s favorite ice cream designer duo, Ben and Jerry.
We spent Saturday in Montréal, wandering the old city’s narrow, cobblestone streets, browsing chic boutiques…and, trying to stay warm in 10 degrees.

You’ve piqued my interest. I should visit Montreal to see all those fashion finds but I think I’ll wait until the Spring!!!
Omg I love that you just hopped in your car and went to visit a friend and made a whole adventure out of it. I hear Montreal is a beautiful city as you very well depicted. It has been and remains one of the many places that I cannot wait to visit. Thanks for sharing this.
